The Official Wedding Date

We officially tied the knot on the afternoon of our 9 year anniversary on Thursday, December 19 2019, at City Hall in Virginia Beach, VA. The formal celebration was held the evening of a following Saturday, December 28, 2019. We have chosen to recognize 12.19.2019 as our official wedding day.

Joe wore a new navy suit and Mary Anne wore an ivory jumpsuit with silver sequence pumps. The staff members were so excited to she that the bride wore a veil, which would be the same veil used for the formal wedding. Her aunt bought her a bouquet of white lillies.

Those in attendance included the following family members:

  • Emmanuel Libago, Mary Anne’s Uncle

  • Lorna Libago, Mary Anne’s Aunt / Father’s sister from the Philippines

  • MJ Robinson, Mary Anne’s oldest sister

  • Rayn Robinson, Mary Anne’s oldest niece

Although we decided to exclude a cake cutting from our formal celebration on Dec 28th, we did get an ice cream cake for the night of this ceremony. We do love our carvel ice cream cake, not to be mistaken with with cakes that are layers of ice cream and cake… There is definitely a difference to us!
