Portraits with our Guests
Rather than take traditional table photos with mixed-up groups of people, we wanted to give our guests the opportunity to take more intimate photos with us. We had also planned on doing an outfit change, so right after the ceremony was the only chance the guests would have to take a photo with Mary Anne in her wedding gown. Not to mention, this would add more time for dancing to our reception.
Immediately after our recess from the ceremony room, we popped into the Rodriguez room of the MOCA. We thought that this would be a good background for the group photos because it mimicked the natural outdoor background we originally wanted.
Our guests were directed to the Rodriguez room and formed a semi-organized line to take photos with us. Ideally, the guests were to exit MOCA after taking their photos. However, the timing didn’t work out as we had planned and our reception venue wasn’t open just yet. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to have a moment with each of the families.
