Old Bay Buttered-Up Chicken

Week 2 Meal 2 of our Hello Fresh journey. This one was probably the least enjoyable. Not because of the recipe, but we over seasoned nearly everything.

Lessons Learned:

  • Chicken stock is already salty, so be very light-handed when adding additional salt

  • Tread lightly when using the butter sauce

Mary Anne only likes Old Bay on her soft shelled crabs so she opted for a lemon pepper chicken (on right). The lighter flavors of the veggies saved this dish because everything else was far too salty and heavily seasoned.
