The Netflix Original Series You starring Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley shared seven totems that must be acquired in order to officially become an Angeleno and never leave Los Angeles. Stacey Leasca, of the Los Angeles Times has also written an article expanding on this idea. We’ll be updating this post as we work on finding these totems.
Totem 1: A Rollerblader in booty shorts
Where you’re most likely to spot it: Venice
Level up: A scooter rider in booty shorts
Totem 2: A police helicopter
Where You’re Most Likely to Spot it: Downtown
Level up: A car chase live on the 405
This was one of the first totems we found.
Totem 3: A pack of coyotes
Where you’re most likely to spot it: Griffith Park
Level up: A mountain lion
