The Engagement

The Proposal

Joe proposed to Mary Anne on December 19, 2017, their seven year anniversary, along Boracay's (Philippines) beautiful white sand beach. They have chosen to seal the anniversary date and get married on their nine year anniversary, December 19, 2019.
They would like to bring their families back to the beaches of Boracay to celebrate a future anniversary.

Engagement Announcement Video

Joe and Mary Anne often create video blogs so they decided to create one for their trip with a surprise announcement of their engagement. They informed their family and close friends in person or via FaceTime, but the rest of the world learned about their engagement through the video. As fate would have it, their favorite musical pair, Us The Duo, posted the music video for Christmas in Paradise on the same day of their engagement. This would have been extremely fitting as Joe and Mary Anne wanted to get married in Boracay on 12.19.19.
